GLEN, a registered 2-year-old dog handled by R H Hughes of Welshpool, Wales, achieved the top price at the autumn sale of working dogs at Skipton auction mart last Friday.
Failing to find a buyer in the auction ring, Glen later sold privately to a local buyer for 1,500gns after a private trial.

Prices (60 dogs forward): broken to 1,500gns av £1,015; part-broken to 600gns av £507; unbroken to 550gns av £317; puppies to 450gns av £135.
