A YOUNG hair stylist at a Guisborough salon is looking for models willing to have their hair restyled for the regional finals of a competition.

Laura Marsh, 19, has been chosen from thousands of young hair stylists to compete in the regional finals of Talent Spotting, a competition organised each year by L'Oral Professionnel, Company magazine and trade magazine Creative Head.

Ms Marsh works at Saks in the town and is on the company's art team scholarship programme.

She is searching for people to model for her in the regional heats.

Prospective models, both women and men, should be aged between 18 and 30 and be willing to have their hair completely restyled and coloured.

Ms Marsh will need to work on their hair in the next four weeks and they would then have to travel with her to the regional finals in Manchester, on October 5.

If she gets through to the national finals, the model would also need to be available for November 16 and would travel with her to London.
