TAKING a dip into the world of the local regimental museum has become easier for the people of Richmond.
The Green Howards Museum has exhibits on display in a Flying Showcase at the town's swimming pool throughout September.
A wide selection of exhibits from the award-winning museum is featured - including a spiked ceremonial helmet from the 1890s, embroidery done by a soldier on the Western Front in the First World War and a gas mask from the Second World War.
The Flying Showcase scheme, set up by Richmondshire and Hambleton museums officer Lynda Powell, is designed to allow local attractions to give people a taste of what they offer
