A Darlington public speaking club is relaunching itself with a new name this evening.
Darlington Speakers' Club, formed 11 years ago, will become Speak for Yourself.
The group helps people who want to build-up their confidence in public speaking, presenting, interviewing and communication skills.
Tonight's launch takes place at the Dolphin Centre, at 7.30pm, and all are welcome to attend. The club meets fortnightly in the Pepper Pot room at the centre.
A group spokesman said: "The new organisation is planning to expand its geographical coverage and offer a greater range of opportunities for its members to help each other.
"The meeting will be useful to anyone who is interested in developing their confidence and communication skills or who is responsible for supporting others, such as staff or students."
