AN ARTIST'S cottage has once again become a gallery for paintings that are expected to capture the attention of art lovers.
Three women artists, all with quite different styles, have teamed together for the seventh year running to present an exhibition of their work at the Toll Bar Gallery.
Housed in Joan Ashman's cottage, in Skelton, near York, the gallery provides a huge variety work.
"There is a mixture of watercolour, soft pastel, oil and acrylics - a little something for everybody's taste," said artist Diane Thornton.
The two women, along with Eileen Dean, met on the York Art Society Committee and regularly go out and paint together. Their work will be exhibited in the gallery until Sunday.
