THE drama of the Yorkshire landscape is featured in a major exhibition at one of the county's stately homes.
Nunnington Hall, a National Trust property near Helmsley, is featuring the work of Bedale artist Sue Lawson.
About 40 of her works are on show in an exhibition opening today and continuing until September 28.
A wide selection of landscapes are featured, from the Yorkshire coast back across Wensleydale, via the North York Moors, Masham Moor and other locations.
Property manager Simon Lee said: "The quality of Sue's work is superb and I am confident visitors will really enjoy this exhibition.
"She captures the changing moods of the countryside and the unpredictability of the weather.
"Sue has a major talent that is already being compared to some of the great names in art."
