Vimac Leisure has snapped up two more venues as it continues with its expansion plans.
The leisure group, based in Boldon, South Tyneside, recently bought Dontinos nightclub, in Hexham, and has now added two venues in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, to its portfolio - Milanos nightclub, and late night bar Caf de Paris, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisitions fit in with Vimac's aim of buying late night venues in medium-sized towns.
Financial director Stephen Shell said: "Last year we invested £8m in new business and these have been a great success.
"We take a great deal of pride in our venues and seek to provide a contemporary style with the latest equipment specifications.
"To date we have invested £2m in our rolling refurbishment programme and we see this as an important part of our investment strategy."
