ARTIST Wendy Tate has no qualms about painting herself nude - but not everybody is so laid back about her work.
Her latest exhibition, Poetic Evocations, has opened at Scarborough Art Gallery, in the coffee lounge area.
But the paintings on show weren't those she originally intended, after they were deemed a little too saucy for diners.
In a few months, Wendy, 35, created a new collection of work for the show - still nudes, but rather less revealing.
Wendy, who lives in Scarborough, said: "Full frontals would have been a little out of place because of the situation - so I had to do another seven pictures."
A professional artist who specialises in nudes, Wendy gained her MA from Hull University last September.
Poetic Evocations runs at Scarborough Art Gallery until late November. For more details log on to the website. www.come.to/wendytate
