Birtley Town Reserves won 3-1 at home to Seaham Town Community.
They were in front after 15 minutes when Paul Quigley won the ball and travelled nearly the full length of the pitch unchallenged before slipping the ball under the Seaham keeper. Seaham were level thanks to a nice chip over the Birtley's keeper by Scott Burns in the 18th minute. In the second half Birtley had the edge over Seaham Town and went in front when Mike Bradley chipped the ball over the keeper in 46 minutes. A brilliant header by Joe Shaw from a cross by John Seaton sealed it in the 65th minute.
Seaham Mallard clinched victory by 2-1 away to Durham Victoria Bridge, a penalty awarded in 15 minutes was scored by their keeper Garron Morton. Five minutes later Durham Vic were level when Kane Hobson rounded the Mallard defender then beat the keeper with his left foot. The Mallard clinched victory in the 50th minute when Durham Vic's keeper dropped the ball in front of Thomas Fletcher who had the simplest of chances to tap the ball in.
Whitehill FC beat Belford House at home by three goals to one. Jamie Bennet set up the first goal for Whitehill. He went down the left to release the ball to Darren Burnham who put a nice through ball to Kevin Coates who beat the keeper with ease. Belford drew level when Ian Loughlin hit a 35 yard shot that dipped over the keeper into the net. Mark Elliot put Whitehil in front again in 55 minutes just before Kevin Coates got his second by sneaking in from a back pass to round the keeper and score.
Brandon Prince Bishop outplayed Simonside SC in a six goals to one win at home. They were in front after 20 minutes when Lee Johnson scored direct from a corner. A penalty scored by David Dickinson made it 2-0 in 25 minutes then an 18 yard drive by Michael Fort made it 3-0 at half time. Michael Fort, Mark Eilles and Paul Webster added their names to the score sheet with Steven Gibson getting a late consolation goal for Simonside.
League Champions Coxhoe Athletic kept their good run going with a 5-0 win away to Durham University. Kevin Bush put them in front with a direct free kick from 20 yards. Dean Smithson got the second after receiving a nice pass from Andrew Soppitt. Gary Turton made it 3-0 in the first half. In the second half Alan Tolley scored a penalty with Andrew Soppitt making it five. Shildon Railway beat Gateshead A 5-3 at home. On the score sheet for Shildon were Kevin Hamilton, Darren Foster and a hat trick from Neil Robinson. David Laidler, Simon Johnson and David Snowdon replied for the Gateshead Team.
