NORTH Yorkshire rider Alice McCullagh and Little Storm put in another fine performance to help the England red division team to victory at the British Show Pony Society summer championships.
The England blue and white division teams took second and third places respectively by beating off stiff competition from Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
Although 11-year-old Alice, a pupil at Yarm School, is the youngest member of the team, she certainly made her mark by scoring valuable points.
A clear round in the inter-country team competition and a victory in the Performance 138cm working hunter pony class was her contribution to a magnificent result.
Alice is now looking forward to again taking on the top ponies in the UK and Ireland with Little Storm and her 128cm show jumper Dickens at the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC in Birmingham next week
