Three shed burglaries occurred in Darlington between Wednesday and yesterday.
A silver Orange E8 mountain bike was stolen from Staindrop Crescent, a Carrora Banshee mountain bike from Auckland Oval and a set of ten golf clubs in a silver and black Mizuno bag from The Meadows, in Middleton St George. Anyone with information is asked to call Darlington police on (01325) 467681.
YOUTH AWARDS: More than 200 youngsters were presented with certificates in a ceremony at the Dolphin Centre last night. All were school leavers who took part in the U project, organised by Darlington and District Youth and Community Association, to increase their chances of getting a job.
FAMILY HISTORY: Sedgefield Family History Group holds its next meeting in Ceddesfeld Hall, Rectory Row, on Monday, at 7.45pm when a talk, My Victorian Family, will be given by Beatrice Wilson. On Monday, October 20, the subject of clandestine marriages will be discussed by Norman Welch.
