A PARISH council will be on the move this winter after taking up an offer of a warmer home.
The authority at Middleton St George will temporarily conduct its business in a refurbished room in the village community centre.
The centre made an offer which would see the council use the room during the winter, instead of its usual meeting place in the boardroom at Middleton Water Park.
Councillor Doris Jones said: "We were very grateful, it's freezing in the boardroom - we have to talk faster just to keep warm."
The council has hopes of revamping the water park area to make it more of a nature reserve.
