A GROUP of Sedgefield villagers will be on the trail of good food when they take part in a safari on Saturday.
Their destinations will not be some far away location but several homes in the village, with the guarantee of food and refreshments at each.
They will be taking part in a Safari Supper organised by Sedgefield Twining Association in aid of funds, to publicise its work and to encourage new members.
The association was formed 21 years ago, making it one of the county's oldest and continuous running exchange organisations.
It has been linked with Hamminkeln, in Germany, since the start, with regular visits between residents of the two communities.
Many have made close friends over the years and, in addition to the organised visits, numerous private visits are now taking place.
For details or to join the association, call the chairman, Councillor Keith Wells, on (01740) 620467.
