Derwentside Primary Care Trust (PCT) will launch its first annual report at its next board meeting.
The report gives information about the PCT's work to bring together health, social services, users, carers and other partners to improve services for residents and also provides details of the PCT's financial performance.
The PCT will also sign up to the County Durham Compact during the meeting at Shotley Bridge Hospital on Tuesday, September 23 .
This will commit the PCT to working with the voluntary sector to improve local services and the health of people in Derwentside.
Trust chief executive Wynn Griffiths said: "I am excited about the future of the PCT and of health care in the area and look forward to working with the wide variety of agencies and people involved with the PCT through the challenges that lie ahead."
The meeting, which takes place at 9.30am, is open to the public.
