MARKSMAN John Robinson has returned from his latest competition with two medals to add to his tally.
The former Commonwealth Games gold medal winner, from Huby, near Easingwold, took part in the Home International Olympic Skeet event at Bisley, Surrey.
And his sharpshooting skills won him an individual silver medal and a team gold medal.
He scored 97 out of a possible 100 in a shoot-off, and was beaten to the individual gold by only one clay.
He was also a member of the successful ten-men England team who won a gold medal with a record score of 95.6 targets per team member.
The event involves teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as the Republic of Ireland.
A member of the national clay shooting team since 1989, it was Mr Robinson's 22nd cap for England.
His shooting successes in recent years culminated in being ranked number one in Great Britain by winning the gold medal for individual shooting at the British Grand Prix in 2000, as well as gold and silver medals at the 2000 European Commonwealth championships.
He works as the UK sales and marketing manager for Masham firm Ritchey Tagg, a livestock care and management firm, which sponsors him.
