ADVENTUROUS Harry Burn is accustomed to scaling great heights for charity - but his next fundraising feat will ensure he remains firmly on the ground.
Mr Burn is competing in the Bupa Great North Run on Sunday, September 21, to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Foundation.
In 2001, Mr Burn, of Spennymoor, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to boost charity funds. He will continue his efforts by tackling the 13.1-mile route from Newcastle to South Shields.
"I chose the Leukaemia Research Foundation because it is run by genuine, enthusiastic people. I know that any money I raise will go where it is needed most," he said.
