ANYONE looking for career advice or a job working for the NHS should not miss job shops that open today.
The shops are designed to inform people of job vacancies available at the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, and about the variety of career opportunities on offer.
They will also be able to meet and talk to staff already working in the NHS.
The job shops are among the first of hundreds taking place all over England in hospitals and trusts, as part of a national recruitment campaign by the NHS, the world's third largest employer.
The official National Job Shop Day is on Wednesday.
The job shops will be held today at Sainsbury's Supermarket, in Wilson Street, Middlesbrough, from 10am to 4pm, and on Tuesday, at the James Cook University Hospital, in Marton Road, Middlesbrough.
The national NHS Careers response line and website is a 24-hour a day free service for people wanting to know more about careers in the NHS. The number is 0845 60 60 655 and website address is www.nhs.uk/careers
