STUDENTS from a dance school have passed their examinations with flying colours.
Pupils from the Rachel V Harrison School of Dance, which is based at St Mark's Church Hall, in North Road, Darlington, achieved the following results in their Royal Academy of Dance Vocational Examinations in classical ballet: Intermediate Foundation: Charlotte Jones and Kristina Gallagher (commended), Intermediate: Lauren Beedle (commended) and Zoe-Joanne Woodcock (distinction).
The following students passed their Vocational Graded Royal Academy of Dance examinations:
Pre-primary level: Harriet Ashley, Lucy Alexander, Caitlin Walton, Sarah Nattrass, Chelsea Bourne-Morison, Amy Holiday, Grace Short, Imogen Brown, Holly Owen, Margaret Hart, Abbie Hardy and Kelly Shields.
Grade Two: Rebecca Bynoe (distinction), Amy Dodds (commended), Frances McFadden (commended), Julia Bellamy (merit), Shannon Bradley (merit), Alice Daniel (commended), Laura Gardener (commended), Bethany Walker (commended) and Jocelyn Habberley (merit).
Grade Four: Charlotte Jones (distinction), Charlotte Dean (commended), Laura Day (merit), Charlotte Smith (pass), Sophie Ainscough (pass), Grace Simpson (distinction), Jessica Simpson (commended), Rachel Ashford (merit) and Beth Ainscough (pass).
Grade Five: Jessica Mears (distinction), Lisa Hall (commended) and Laura Ramsay (commended).
