ART lovers are being challenged to let their minds roam when they interpret abstract work by two local artists.
Peter Hibbard, owner of the Old School Art Workshop in Middleham, North Yorkshire, is showing some of his own sculptures in alabaster stone for the first time for several years.
His work is complemented by abstract paintings by Barbara Gardner.
The show, which runs until, October 6, opens at 10am except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
"I have included myself because I have some new work to show," said Mr Hibbard, who leads residential workshops in sculpture in Middleham.
"Barbara has steadfastly encouraged me to complete my part of the show as well as sustaining her own development as a painter throughout our wait for an appropriate gap in the exhibition programme.''
