A NORTH Yorkshire stately home opened a new attraction at the weekend.
Visitors at Castle Howard, near Malton, could see an exhibition of quilting, and more than 30 members of the Patchwork Priory were on hand to lead workshops and exhibit examples of their work.
Bed quilts, wall hangings, cushions and even clothing were on display on themes, which included Christmas and a children's corner.
