FITNESS fanatics will be challenged to pedal 50 miles to raise vital funds for breast cancer - an illness that affects one woman in nine across the UK.
Hambleton Leisure Centre, in Northallerton, is urging its users and members of the public to take part in a charity bike ride next month as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Participants will join hundreds of other gym users across the nation, who will also rise to the Life Cycle challenge and help raise £150,000 to support research into a cure for the most common form of cancer in women.
For more information and details of how to get involved, visit the centre's Lifestyle Fitness Studio any time next month.
