A TEENAGER appeared in court yesterday accused of brandishing a gun during raids on two shops.
Harrogate magistrates sent Nathan Alexis Wilsher, 18, for trial at York Crown Court.
Mr Wilsher, of Cavendish Avenue, Harrogate, is charged with robbing Katie Winter at the Tanning Shop, in King Edward's Drive, of £170 last Friday. He is also accused of attempting to rob Max Anderson of cash at the Mayfield Store, in Mayfield Grove, the following day.
Defence solicitor Geoffrey Rogers made no application for bail and magistrate Michael Garnett remanded Mr Wilsher in custody to make an initial appearance before a judge on Monday.
