THE talents of North Yorkshire youngsters went on display in Northallerton after a summer of artistic activity.
Over 100 children took part in art workshops in museums across Hambleton and Richmondshire during the summer holidays. The Active8 programme brought together professionals and children in interactive sessions in eleven museums. They designed textiles, made music, took drama lessons and constructed huge monsters.
Arts development officer Kate Staines said: "This series of workshops was a first for the Hambleton and Richmondshire museums service but has been so popular we hope to run it in the future. The exhibition allowed the children who took part to showcase their work."
