Darlington Supporters Trust last night launched a petition to persuade the club to overturn a ban imposed on a supporters' website editor.
Scott Thornberry, who runs the Darlo Uncovered site, has been told by the club to stay away from the Reynolds Arena.
And according to Darlington chairman George Reynolds "five or six" who demonstrated their support for Mr Thornberry at Saturday's home match against Doncaster will have their season tickets removed.
During the half-time interval at York members of the Trust gathered names for a petition urging the club to lift the ban.
The Trust said the ban against Mr Thornberry was completely unwarranted and further bans would only lead to a worsening of the situation.
The club's official spokesman Luke Raine, who handles all press inquiries, was unavailable yesterday.
