PUBLIC-SPIRITED people in Hartlepool have the chance to prove just how much they care for their town.
Officers from Hartlepool Borough Council are looking to recruit a resident representative for the central neighbourhood consultative forum and an election is to be held at the forum's next meeting, on Thursday, October 2.
The council has three neighbourhood consultative forums, in the north, centre and south of the town, which meet every eight weeks and give people a chance to raise issues and discuss matters of concern affecting their areas.
Nominations can be made at the forum's meeting, in the Civic Centre, at 10am, or before 5pm on October 1 for those unable to attend.
Nomination papers are available from Christine Armstrong, on (01429) 523016.
