A day dedicated to bringing together women from west Middlesbrough is being launched.
Ladies' Day aims to equip woman of all ages with a range of skills and experiences.
The weekly sessions are being organised by West Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Trust's (WMNT) health team.
The sessions will be held at Whinney Banks Youth and Community Centre, Harehill Road, on Thursdays from 1pm to 3.30pm starting on October 2.
Joan Ford, chairman of WMNT, which manages the £52m New Deal for Communities regeneration programme in Middlesbrough, said it was an ideal opportunity for women of all ages and backgrounds to get together.
She said: "Not only can they make new friends, they can also learn new experiences and skills they might otherwise never have tried their hand at.
"Ladies' Day aims to offer a whole range of exciting taster courses and skills that are of interest to women, and better still, they are free."
Women in west Middlesbrough can look forward to pampering sessions, including hair and beauty, reflexology, aromatherapy and nail art. There will also be mother and toddler facilities.
