HUNDREDS of ponies from as far north as Aberdeen and down to Cornwall in the south attended this year's Shetland Pony Stud Book Society Breed Show at the end of August.
The event was held at Queen Ethelburga's College, between Harrogate and York, the first time it had been held in Yorkshire for five years.
As many as 468 ponies attended the event, which had visitors from across the UK, Sweden, Denmark and France.
The range of classes at the show is ever-widening, with all sizes and colours catered for.
Patrick McCutcheon, director at sponsors Dacre, Son and Hartley, presented the supreme championship trophy to by Mr and Mrs M J Barugh, owners of the winner, Birch Moor Amadeus
