It was a week for big wins, with leaders Durham HQ trouncing demoralised Derwentside 11-0.
There were hat-tricks for Dave Oliver, Tony Insall and Paul Bruce, with Lee Tooke and Lee Elliott chipping in with a goal each.
The win maintains HQ's unbeaten start and sees them set the early pace at the top. Derwentside were hampered yet again by injuries which saw two players limp off.
Stockton are the surprise package so far this season, taking their unbeaten start to four games, with a seven goal win over recently rejuvenated Sedgefield.
Tony Marron scored four goals, with Noel Young, Jim Allen and Paul Pyder scoring one each. This was all despite having a player sent off, which took the gloss off this win.
Tyne and Wear also rattled in seven unanswered goals, against a much understrength Durham Fire.
Phil Sowerby bagged a hat trick, Troy Curry scored twice and Steve Burns and Richie Biggs got a goal each.
The closest match saw Frankland beat Darlington by a solitary goal from Elliott Sharp.
Darlington played the whole match with nine men, but their keeper Stu Dawson was in inspirational form once again.
