A watercolours exhibition is to open at Billingham Art Gallery tomorrow.
The paintings, by George Colley, include Autumn at Roseberry Topping, Goathland Falls and Across Tees Bay.
Mr Colley was brought up in Hartlepool and in 1968 he started his own business, Memory Lane Prints, of detailed pencil prints of the area as it was in former times.
In 1996, he began teaching watercolour painting at Cleveland College of Art for Owton Fens Community Association and Hartlepool Borough Council.
Now, he teaches watercolour painting privately in Hartlepool and occasionally tutors in the Lake District.
It will be his first solo exhibition at Billingham, following a joint one several years ago. It runs until October 25 and admission is free.
