Division One, BEADS FC 3, Bedale FC 0: Middlesbrough side BEADS bounced back from last week's disappointing 1-0 defeat, beating Bedale 3-0.
Paul Newham opened the scoring just before the break after the Bedale keeper spilled a Paul Chamberlain free-kick. Chamberlain and Nathan Liddle secured the points.
Carlin How 6, Richmond Town 2
Carlin How bounced back from last week's narrow defeat at Thornaby and took a 31st minute lead by beating Richmond Town 6-2.
Steve Starsmore and Glenn Smith made it 2-0 before the break.
In the second half, Richmond came our all guns blazing and were rewarded when a long ball found Richard Thompson, who beat the offside trap to make it 2-1.
Craig Tyreman then pulled it back to 2-2 only for Starsmore to hand the home side the lead again. Three minutes later debutant Kamara made it 4-2, and then added his second in the 80th minute to make it 5-2 before Kevin Hampton rounded of a man-of-the-match display with his side's sixth in the last minute.
Fishburn Park 2, Nunthorpe Ath 2
The visitors took a 30th minute lead through Steven McDonald only for the Whitby side to make it all square 20 minutes into the second half when Dean Price scored direct from a free-kick. The home side took the lead seven minutes from time when Paul Mansfield, the Nunthorpe keeper, was credited with an own goal. But two minutes later the visitors drew level through Simon Henderson.
Mackinlay Park 2, Grangetown BC 6
Redcar side Mackinlay Park fell behind to a Robbie Bell goal after only 22 minutes, but soon levelled three minutes later through Ian Young. Alan Shepherd gave the Boys Club a 2-1 lead with Ian McGowan making it 3-1 to the Boys Club a minute before half-time only for Mackinlay Park to strike past just before the break through Craig Owens to make it 3-2. The champions then struck to take a 4-2 lead through Bell's second of the match. A brace from Michael Meggison completed the scoring.
Thornaby FC 9, Stokesley SC 1
Danny Jones scored four goals and Michael Arif scored a hat-trick as Thornaby ran riot over a shell-shocked Stokesley. Paul McConnell and Gary Wyatt were the other Thornaby scorers.Tony Grainge scored Stokesley's consolation.
Thornaby YC 1, Hartlepool FC 0
Goalscorer Phil Wright was the hero as Thornaby beat Hartlepool.
Wright, who was guilty of missing a golden chance minutes before made amends when a Chris Cain free-kick was headed back across the box by Gary Waite for Wright to score from close range.
Division Two
Darlton RA Res 3, Billinghm Wndrs 1
Darlington RA Reserves secured their first win of the season, beating Billingham 3-1. Graham Dodsworth cancelled out Gary Bint's early strike in an exciting first 15 minutes. Darren Kokes and Carl Moss completed the win.
Dormans FC 3, Darlington CB 1
Dormans came from behind to move back to the top of Division Two following their 3-1 win over Darlington CB. Stuart Hardy handed the visitors a 15th minute lead only for Lee Atkinson to make it 1-1 at half-time.Chris Fuller then gave Dormans the lead and with five minutes remaining James Mellon secured the win.
Guisb Town Res 0, Darlington SRM 2
A Paul Thorns brace ensured Guisborough Town Res suffered their fourth defeat of the season against Darlington SRM.
Teesside Link 6, Darlington Albion 2
Teesside Link agreed to the Darlington request to switch venues, as their was unavailable and the Thornaby side took advantage by taking a tenth minute lead through Robbie Shaw, but Darlington Albion levelled seven minutes later through Gary Mitchell, only for Stuart Jackson to give the home side the lead again three minutes later. Steve Hill then made it 3-1 and Jackson struck again to make it a comfortable 4-1 lead at half-time. In the second half the Albion fought back and in the 68th minute Trenton Hewitt pulled it back to 4-2, but it was to no avail as in the last ten minutes Andy Harrow scored twice to secure all three points.
Macmillan Bowl preliminary round
Rich Mavericks 0, SMG Redstripes 2
Richmond Mavericks were knocked out of the Macmillan Bowl by last season's Division Two champions Billingham SMG Redstripes. Steve Keel gave the Redstripes a 23rd minute lead, which the visitors then doubled four minutes later through Rory Newton.
Teesside Ath 1, New Marske SC 2
It was agony for Division Two strugglers Teesside Athletic as they were dumped out of the competition by a stunning late volley by Dean Chapman. Kirk Forsyth had earlier scored a magical goal to give the home side an early advantage only for Parry Jones to level the scores.
Wolviston Res 4, Whinney Banks 2
Wolviston Reserves are through to the next round of the MacMillan Bowl but had to come from behind before beating Division Two side Whinney Banks, who took the lead in the 16th minute through John Blamires. Wolviston were back on level terms when Shaun Hunnam equalised. Two goals from Ian Thompson and an own goal then secured victory for the home side in the second half. Arron Ward scored a late consolation.
