ANCIENT Chinese medicine is now on offer in a city centre high street, following the opening of a new shop.
The Herbal Inn store opened several weeks ago in the Prince Bishops Shopping Centre, in Durham, and has served hundreds of shoppers.
The shop stocks more than 300 herbs to treat everything from anxiety to acne and employs its own doctor - Dr Zhian Li.
Dr Li said: "I use four techniques to diagnose a patient which include looking, listening, touching and checking of the pulse.
Once I have done this, I will recommend appropriate acupuncture treatments or select herbal mixtures which will deal with the exact needs of the patient."
