A YOUNG cat with a serious heart defect needs a caring home where she can live out the rest of her life in comfort.
Vets fear that one-year-old Fluffy might only have two years to live. She is being cared for at a foster home found by Cats Protection League volunteers for Wear Valley, Darlington and the Dales.
Fluffy is a pretty, grey cat with a friendly nature, who can be playful at times.
Protection league spokes-woman Marion Maychell said: "She needs to live indoors. She can't go outside in case anything happens to put a strain on her heart. She would be quite happy as a house cat. There are no symptoms at the moment.
"But for whatever time she has left we would like to see her living in a home where she would be cared for."
Contact the protection league on (01388) 776549 if you would like to offer a home to Fluffy or any other cat.
