PLANS for a nine-hole golf course in Ingleby Barwick are now available for public inspection.
The course, which would include a shop, clubhouse, restaurant, green-keeper's store and driving range, is planned for Church Road.
After initial planning objections and worries about impact to the area, Stockton Borough Council agreed last year that archaeological surveys of the area were not needed.
Outline planning permission has been granted and, subject to final planning permission, work on the course will go ahead.
The proposed site covers 29.75 hectares of land to the north of Ingleby Barwick, on the Quarry Farm site, adjacent to the new Stockton bypass.
Although the course will be privately owned it will be open for non-members.
The plans are at Stockton Borough Council's municipal offices
