NORTH Yorkshire teenager Kathryn Wardle has won the European Ladies Trials Championship youth section after finishing fifth at Borgo Maggiore in San Marino last Saturday.
She took the title by just a single point from Italian Alessandra Sbrana, while fellow North Yorkshire rider Becky Rennison finished fourth on the day.
In the adult section, Richmond's Katy Sunter failed to score in her first major trial since suffering a knee injury.
