Burnmoor Cricket Club moved to the top of the Premiership with a 5-2 win at Sacriston Wmc.
Two fine strikes from Graeme Hutchinson plus goals from Lee Wright, Dave Hall, and Steve McMahon gave them the win. Brandon United remain in third place as they were also 5-2 winners at home to Spennymoor Quinn's. Prolific marksman Tony Hanson (2), Steve Graham (2) and one from Dave Fort did the trick. Fatfield North Biddick had a 6-1 win at struggling Fishburn wmc. Sedgefield moved into fourth winning 4-1 at home to Chester Garden Farm, Steve Flockett (3) and Mike Pittam scoring.
In the First Division a mid-table clash saw honours shared as Lumley FC and visitors Coxhoe Wmc drew 1-1, Paul Bainbridge for Lumley and Gavin Barton for Coxhoe. Esh Winning CC recorded their highest win of the season winning 9-3 at Hetton New Inn, Darren Burnham adding four to his tally along with goals from Paul Littlewood (2), Aaron Scott (2) and Gary Todd. Durham City Wmc maintained second spot with a 5-2 home win over Brandon Bay Horse, Ben Hulbert (2), Paul Richardson (2) and one from Richard Johnson.
In the Second Division Kelloe entertained bottom club Bowburn Hare and Greyhound and a goal from Kelloe's Paul Hegartty separated the two clubs.
Goals from Dave Clarke and Damien Foster gave hosts Pittington FC a share of the points in the 2-2 derby draw at home to Belmont Wmc in the Third Division, Dave Rochester and Matt Laws the Belmont marksmen. Houghton Comrades maintained top spot with a 4-3 win at Durham Bede Lodge. Bearpark wmc moved into second with a hard-fought 7-4 win at Washington Honest Boy, Mark Welsh hitting four, two from Keith Rutherford plus one from Neil Sweeney. Alan Brumwell despite being on the loosing side hit a Fine hat-trick. Two goals from Shaun Smith earned Chilton Lodge a point tin the 2-2 home draw with Brandon Sports.
In the Fourth Chester Horner's maintained top spot winning 2-0 at Langley Park Sports and Social.
In the Durham Driveways Trophy Durham Pot & Glass continued their good start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 win over Birtley Coach and Horses. A one-way first half amazingly finished 0-0 with the Birtley keeper pulling off some remarkable saves and earning the man of the match award. The deadlock was broken with an excellent left footed strike by Steven Gardener and the second was scored by Steven Dobson. Lumley Snooker Club entertained Washington Arms and it was Washington Arms who went into an early lead with a Neil Sybenga goal and Nicholas Hindmarch put them further ahead. Lumley came back strongly in the second period and deservedly pulled a goal back with a Grant Diehl strike however the Arms defence held out to win the tie 2-1. A hat-trick from Craig McManus and one each for Laurie Hallas and Athol Manson gave Gilesgatemoor Hotel a 5-1 home win over Newton Aycliffe Wmc. Two goals from Steve Fenn was not enough to prevent Houghton Mill All Stars from losing 3-2 at Newton Hall Jovial Monk. Goals from Stuart Greaves, Chris Brown, Darren Feasey and Stuart Quinn gave Durham Coach and Eight a 4-0 home win over the Glendenning Arms.
In the Racing Promotions Trophy Washington Dunlop Tyres were winners over side Pelton Roab, 3-1 Mark Kirtley scoring two plus one from Craig Howe.
In the Durham City AFC Supporters Trophy Burnmoor Dun Cow were 3-2 winners over Witton Gilbert Wmc. Byers Green Wmc were 4-1 winners over Sunderland Lakeside. Ouston Red Lion won 6-4 at Ferryhill wmc and Belmont Sportsmans Arms were 4-1 home winners over White Tunn.
