Organisers are preparing for another sell-out night at the Dolphin Centre when Darlington hosts another night of professional boxing next month.
Last July Darlington's Francis Jones, Argie Ward and Oscar Hall were the main attractions on a five-fight bill - the first time the town had staged pro boxing for sometime.
But the success of that night meant organisers were quick to arrange another show which will take place on Friday, October 10. Sponsored by Baydale of Newton Aycliffe, again Jones, Ward and Hall will be on the card.
Two months ago Jones, with five wins behind him and one defeat, was arguably the home crowd's most entertaining fighter as he made light work of his Sheffield opponent. Next month he will be up against Steve Russell of Norwich while Ward faces a re-match with Rocky Dean.
The pair tied at the Dolphin in July while light welterweight Hall, in line for a crack at a title soon, is up against Gary Reed.
