A MAN was bailed by Harrogate magistrates yesterday following a garage raid in which two Harley-Davidson motorcycles worth £20,000 were stolen.
Simon Anthony Archer, of Woodfield Walk, Harrogate, was accused of jointly burgling the garage of a house in Farfield Avenue, Knaresborough on the night of August 13-14 and stealing the two bikes.
A second charge claimed Mr Archer received a stolen £1,000 L-registered Ford Escort belonging to Paul Laidlaw between July 25 and August 22.
The hearing was adjourned until October 14.
