Ryhope won their first game of the season and did so in style when they hit Sacriston with a 7-0 defeat. Once the Wearsiders went ahead there was no way back for Sacriston who suffered their first reverse of the campaign.
Michael Pattison, 16, was in excellent form for Ryhope and he bagged a brace of goals while others on target were Paul Simon Taylor, Michael Turnbull, Adam McGuinness and Kyle Dinsdale.
There are only five teams in the league this season and Red House have yet to play while Lumley postponed their fixture at the weekend because goalkeeper Liam Lowe was included in the Durham County Youth squad.
