Spennymoor bounced back to winning ways with a workmanlike 4-0 victory away to Fulwell Juniors. Having a full squad available for the first time this season Spennymoor started brightly with good openings available early on.
The early pressure told when Jason White opened the scoring with 20 yard effort after 15 minutes. Todd Franey then ran onto a lovely through ball to convert on the stroke of half time. Spennymoor continued to dominate the second half and further goals were added by Michael Gibson and Jason White. Credit must go to the Spennymoor defence who responded excellently to the previous week's criticism with a far better attitude and played much more solid as a unit.
* All players and management wish Ross Molloy good luck after having successfully completed his trial period at Hartlepool United he has been rewarded with a contract.
