Davis Stephenson Cup Final: Leadgate easily won the David Stephenson Cup when they met Lintz at Sacriston.
Faced with a target of 97 they won with six wickets and almost five overs to spare. Paul Greenwell was in top form for Leadgate and he found the boundary line on seven occasions making a top scoring 45 while Stephen Reynolds carried his bat for a valuable 18 as victory was achieved in 15.5 overs.
When they made first use of the wickets Lintz totalled 96 for five in the maximum 20 overs and their top scorer was Clennell with 23. Dane Marsland took two wickets for 18 runs and Scott Burnham two for 19, the two youngsters each delivering four overs in the Leadgate attack.
