SECURITY specialist Cam-Tec Systems has opened an office in Grimsby after winning a string of contracts in the Humber region.
Cam-Tec, based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, opened the office after North East Lincolnshire Council extended a three-year maintenance contract for its 56-camera town centre closed circuit television (CCTV) system and 12 urban traffic monitoring cameras until 2005.
In January, Cam-Tec will also take over responsibility for another ten CCTV cameras in Grimsby's Freeman Street shopping area, installed earlier this year.
Sales director Richard Hovington said: "This development establishes Cam-Tec as one of the premier CCTV maintenance companies in the North of England."
