Pelton Crown Inn suffered the biggest ever defeat in their history when they were hit for double figures by Stanley Royal.
Both Mark Drake and Mark Patterson hit five each with the others netted by David Turner and David Carmichael in what turned out to be a 12-0 win.
Grange Villa WMC moved into second spot following a 6-2 home win over Washington Oasis. Ian Pinchen (2), Jason Pinchen (2) and two penalties from David Hardy ensured a good win for the Villa while Dean Robson and Craig Carpenter scored for the Oasis.
Felling Mulberry moved in to third place with a 2-1 win over Stanley RAFA. Gary Harkness got both of the Mulberry goals with David Watson replying for the RAFA.
Pelton Fell WMC at last had something to shout about with their first win at Low Fell Jolly Miller where the triumphed 8-2.
Andrew Stevenson scored both the Miller's goals with Frank Tiffen (4), Richard Stanton (2) and Daniel Bankhead (2) scoring for the Fell to move them of the bottom of the league.
