AN in-house band officially opened the South Tees Business Centre yesterday.
The centre, in Puddlers Road, Middlesbrough, which houses 36 businesses, was launched by musicians connected with the complex.
Adrian Beadnell, enterprise development officer for the West Redcar Single Regeneration Budget, joined two clients, lead guitarist David Paterson and drummer Chris Murphy.
Also taking part was saxophonist Sid Mould, a music teacher based at the Redcar Station Business Centre.
Business centre manager Adrian Howell said: "The centre has become very diverse, varying from new start to major plcs, and this gives the centre its atmosphere and the opportunity to swap ideas and network."
The development agency which manages the South Tees and Redcar Station business centres was delighted.
Chris Dickinson, National Operations Manager for the Rail Safety and Standards Board, said: "The two centres are prime examples of how public and private sectors working together can produce benefits to themselves and the local population."
Local MP Vera Baird said: "The centres provide a valuable service to small businesses."
