A CD-ROM teaching aid on diabetes and pregnancy is to be launched at a North Yorkshire seminar later this month.
The event, aimed at midwives, has been organised by the Maternity and Diabetes Educational Trust, in Thirsk, in conjunction with the Friarage Hospital and Richmondshire and Hambleton Primary Care Trust.
It takes place at Solberge Hall Hotel, near Northallerton, and the guest lecturer will be Dr Angela Thein, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Leeds teaching hospitals.
Afterwards, a teaching package will be launched, with opportunities for hands-on experience.
The seminar is on Tuesday, October 14, from 10am, and is free to NHS staff.
