WENSLEYDALE Rugby Union Football Club juniors of Leyburn, were invited to put up a team of eight and nine-year-olds for an exhibition match at Headingley.
Along with three other teams from Yorkshire junior clubs Leyburn provided the half-time entertainment during the Leeds Tykes v Bath match.
Matches have started in earnest and all age groups, from ten-year-olds to 15-year-olds, have played matches.
