THREE people hurt in accidents on the region's roads over the weekend were described yesterday as comfortable in hospital.
Steven Pettit, 37, of Scarborough Road, Norton, North Yorkshire, was hurt crossing the road shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Dressed all in black, he was struck by a blue Renault Clio at the junction of Scarborough Road and Bowling Lane, in Malton, and treated for head injuries at York District Hospital.
Police are still urging witnesses who may have seen what happened to contact them on (01653) 692424.
Meanwhile, Stockton biker Christopher Hood, 39, and 11-year-old son, Daniel, were recovering at Middlesbrough's James Cook Memorial Hospital after they were thrown from their 900cc Ducati after a collision with a tractor on the A171 on Saturday morning.
Both were treated by paramedics at the scene before being flown to hospital by air ambulance.
