Division One, New Marske SC 0, Bedale FC 3: New Marske Sports Club remain rooted to the bottom of the First Division following this latest defeat.
They had no answer to visitors Bedale man of the match Adam Bramley who scored the first for the visitors after only 12 minutes. He added his second before completing his hat trick goal 15 minutes from time.
Nunthorpe Ath 2, Hartlepool FC 6
Nunthorpe Athletic went behind after 20 minutes when Gary Moore scored the only goal of a tight first half. Glen Watson gave the visitors a 2-0 lead in the 65th minute, but Simon O'Shea pulled it back to 2-1. Neil Hay regained Hartlepool's two goal advantage and youngster Ian Davies made it 4-1 before Adam Miller pulled it back to 4-2. Two late goals from Davies and Lee Haggan secured the Hartlepool win.
Richmond Town 5, Stokesley SC 0
Richmond Town bounced back from last week defeat to dominate the match from start to finish. Richard Thompson grabbed the opener. Five minutes later they went 2-0 up when a brilliant free kick was headed home by Tom Ptak. Sartini got himself on the score sheet when he scored from another brilliant free kick. Richmond went further ahead when Adam Emson got clear of the Stokesley defence and fired past the keeper. Lloyd Batey was sent off for Stokesley before Sartini added insult to injury with the fifth.
SMG Redstripes 0, Fishburn Park 2
Billingham side SMG Redstripes and Whitby side Fishburn Park were meeting for the first time and after an evenly contested first half the match remained goalless after the first half. Fishburn pair Paul Graham and a diving header from Alan Price secured a vistors win.
Thornaby YC 0, Thornaby FC 1
The all Thornaby local derby saw few chances in the first half. In the second half it was again very tight but the Youth Club went close when David Burton hit the bar. The only goal of the game came in the 75th minute when a Darren Miller shot from 25 yards rebounded back of the post out to Martin Speight who smashed home the winner.
Wolviston Res 3, Grangetown BC 3
The match burst into life two minutes into the second half when Robbie Bell scored, he then went on to complete a hat trick with further goals in the 65th and 71st minute. This seemed to secure the points but Wolviston showed their fighting spirit and fought back through strikes from Ian Thompson (2) and Glen Walker.
Division Two
Darlington CB 2, North Orm. FC 0
Darlington Cleveland Bridge completely dominated the first half but at half time all their efforts brought no goals and it remained at 0-0. Five minutes into the second half Stuart Hardy gave the Cleveland Bridge the lead they thoroughly deserved and Dean Chapman doubled their lead.
Dormans FC 4, Darlington SRM 2
Dormans take over at the top of the Second Division. Dormans took a 4-0 lead before being pegged back by two late goals from visitors Darlington SRM. Dormans goals came from Paul Prichard (2), Glynn Swinnerton and Kristian Hanson. But on the hour Paul Thorns pulled it back to 4-1 with his third of the season before John Myers made it a more respectacle scoreline.
Richmond Mav. 1, Darlington RA R 5
The visitors who had only won one game and drawn two before this match took a 25th minute lead through Ross Wetherill and Darren Kokes made it 2-0 from the penalty spot. Wetherill and Kokes sealed the win before Andrew Blenkhard scored a late consolation.
Teesside Ath 1, Whinney Banks 0
Redcar side Teesside Athletic and visitors Whinney Banks were hit by a no show by the match referee. They managed to find a referee and the match got under way forty five minutes late. The Redcar side fielded a much changed side with seven players making their debut and they got game's solitary goal in the 20th minute when a free kick was well headed home by Matthew O'Brien.
Macmillan Bowl Preliminary Round
BEADS FC 2, Billingham Wndrs 1
Middlesbrough side BEADS knew they were facing a potential banana skin and it was a bad start for the home side as Ritchie Walker broke through in the seventh minute. The hosts pushed forward and were rewarded with a penalty in the 35th minute when Paul Chamberlin was brought down, Ian Swinnerton sent the keeper the wrong way. The game livened up now but all the play was in the middle of the park with neither keeper really threatened. BEADS hit the winner through Swinnerton.
Mackinlay Park 0, Carlin How 3
Redcar side Mackinlay Park and visitors Carlin How always seem to be meeting in some kind of cup competition every season, with Carlin How usually coming out on top.
They started out that way as they took the lead after only a minute when Nicky Ward scored. Carlin How took control of the game when Steve Starsmore added two more to secure a place in the next round away to Darlington Cleveland Bridge.
Teesside Link 2, Guisb Town Res 0
Thornaby side Teesside Link secured a home math in the next round against Richmond Town after a comfortable victory over Guisborough Town Reserves. Ben Willing gave Link a 25th minute lead, with Stuart Jackson adding a second in the 36th minute, his 3rd of the season, the home side dominated the rest of the match with poor finishing and dogged defending from the visitors kept he score down but the result was never in any doubt.
