Durham County Council Lomax Enterprises Youth League: Willington won for the second time this season when they hammered Consett 14-2.
Andrew Johnson rifled five goals and there were hat-tricks for Christopher Hodgson and Martin Hopps. David Lee and John Savage completed the scoring and for Willington, man of the match was Dale Dunn, who also added his name to the score sheet.
Gateshead Redheugh won for the second time in three outings, defeating Washington Dunlop 3-2. Darlington Spraire Lads and Trimdon United shared in a goal-less draw while Hartlepool versus South Shields was postponed.
Rohm and Haas JOC Hetton Youth League
Sides were involved in the subsidiary cup and there were wins for Lumley and Jarrow St Bedes. Lumley, who lead Sacriston 2-0 at the halfway stage, built up a three-goals lead before the home side hit back through Greg Coates. The Cestrians then made it 4-1 only for Ashley Bridge to find the net for Sacriston. Lumley then went into a 5-2 lead and Scott Embleton then reduced the deficit but at the conclusion of the game, Lumley ended comfortable 6-3 victors.
Stephen Dobbing and Paul Cudlip both scored twice for Lumley whose other marksmen were David Smith and David Crampton.
Jarrow St Bede's also found their scoring form when the hosted Red House and completed a 5-0 victory after going two goals up by the interval. David Marshall was first to strike and John Smith made it two and he became the hero for Jarrow when he scored another three in the second period, one from the county spot to take his tally to four goals.
Fairs Software Tyneside Junior League
Seaham Redstar, who were without a game, still lead the table having won all five matches. Walker Central also had a free day and they are second with a 100 per cent record from four games.
New Hartley, West Denton and Whitley Bay share third position, all four points behind Seaham Redstar. New Hartley drew 2-2 with Whitley Bay with Simon Gourley and James Brown on the mark for New Hartley and Ben Miley and Mark Nichols replying for Whitley Bay. West Denton also drew on their visit to Consett who lead at the half way stage with strikes by Adam Parker and Craig Lambert. Shaun Gartland and Stephen Dodds replied for West Denton in the second period to earn their side a point.
North Tyneside College scored three times in each half to finish 6-0 in front of Swalwell.
Martin Evans hit a hat trick and others on target were Stuart Nicholson, Anthony Thompson and Ian Watson.
Tow Law Juniors
Tow Law visited Seaham High Colliery with 15 of their registered 17 players available, with David Curry and Dwain Dobson returning, and they recorded their first victory of the new season with a very sound attacking performance.
From the start the Lawyers pressed the home side back but their defence was well organised. In their first attack Seaham forced a corner with the ball falling to Mark Taylor, who scored from the edge of the area. Tow Law continued to have the territorial advantage and were rewarded when Nicky Martin went through to slide the ball past the advancing keeper.
A fine cross from John Wheatley fell to Nicky Martin, who cracked it into the net and just before the break Anthony Lee and Lee Mott combined to create the chance for the latter to score from 16 yards.
Tow Law increased their lead after 59 minutes when Kevin Russell latched on to a loose ball and crashed it into the net. Seaham showed more spirited attacking in the later stages but both teams missed good opportunities. However with just two minutes remaining, Seaham were awarded a corner from which Richard Shenton headed past William Bland in the Tow Law goal.
There were good performances from centre backs, David Curry and Nicky Martin but they were edged out as man of the match for Tow Law by Nicky Martin. On Sunday, Tow Law Juniors entertain Washington Nissan at the Ironworks Road Ground, 11.30am.
Apollo Doors Gateshead Youth League
Consett crashed to a 7-0 defeat when they hosted Whickham Fellside G in the Under-11 Division. Daniel Spoors rifled four goals for Whickham.
Lewis Johnson bagged a brace of goals as Winlaton finished 3-1 ahead of Ryton and another player to score twice was Ryan Burton in a 6-2 defeat for Leam Rangers Y at home to Blackfyne.
Paul Donnelly and Ian Stuart also found the net on two occasions leaving Low Fell M to a 6-1 success against Blaydon.
In the Under-12 section Low Fell lost 4-3 visiting Leam Rangers and Cleveland Hall ended 7-0 winners at Blaydon while Beamish enjoyed a 6-1 victory at home to Consett.
At Under-13 level at hat trick from Dean Martin was the feature of a 4-0 success for Leam Rangers Y at home to Cleveland Hall and the goals flowed for Blackfyne in their encounter with Redheugh. Jimmy Hughes scored four times and Andrew Ronaldson struck a hat trick as Blackfyne ended 9-1 in front.
Low Fell defeated Swalwell 4-2 and in the Under-15 division Beamish defeated Consett 3-2 victory.
South Moor and Blaydon shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Tony Rutter scored twice for South Moor and Shaun Segars was twice on the mark for Blaydon.
New County North Durham Youth League
Leam Rangers hit Ryton with a 7-0 defeat when the sides met in the Under-16 division. John Sherlock and Ryan Moore each hit a hat-trick while Cleveland Hall did even better than Leam Rangers as they put eight goals past Redheugh who failed to reply. Most of the goals came from Andrew Reay (3), Daniel Gibson (2) and Gary Douglas (2). Birtley finished 6-0 winners over Consett and at Under-17 Cleveland Hall were 3-1 victors over Leam Rangers when all the goals were scored by Liam Docherty.
Mark Waugh scored a hat-trick in Winlaton's 5-5 draw with South Moor. Paul Henderson scored three times for South Moor.
Birtley lost 2-0 visiting Redhouse while Redheugh saw off the challenge from Consett by a 5-0 margin when Chris Wilson struck four goals.
