SINGER Midge Ure is among the stars heading to the region next week.
The former member of Visage and Eighties band Ultravox will play at Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre next Saturday.
He will follow a performance, on Friday, from Elvis the Tribute, starring Mario.
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, rubber-faced TV comedian Phil Cool will play.
"We're really excited about our programme next week," said theatre spokesman Claire Monroe.
"We're expecting packed audiences. People have been coming up to me asking if it's the real Midge Ure, not a tribute. I can assure you he's the real thing - but I'm not so sure about Elvis."
Phil Cool will play from 8pm and tickets cost £12, or £11 concessions. Elvis the Tribute will play from 7.45pm and tickets cost £11, or £9 concessions and Midge Ure will play from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12, or £10 concessions.
