AN exhibition inspired by a German-born artist has gone on show in a Newton Aycliffe art gallery.
Rolf Wojciechowski has worked on the Art-Work-Art project with Volante PTIS, a Trimdon Grange manufacturing company producing interior panels for coaches and trains.
Work produced by Mr Wojciechowski and employees at the company's sites in England and Germany is on display at the Greenfield Community and Arts Centre's Gallery until Friday, next week.
The exhibition explores the connections between both sites, manufacturing and artistic practice and the social and work environments of all parties.
Sedgefield Borough Council's leisure services agreed to support the project after being approached by Volante PTIS managing director, John Parks.
Mr Parks was keen to encourage a new artist residency at the company, and support for the project was aided with help from both the Arts Council of England North East and the Arts in Business New Partners scheme.
